Kathmandu, Aug. 25: CPN (UML) senior leader Jhalanath Khanal has said agriculture is the mainstay of country’s entire economic development. Taking part in an interaction programme organised by the Nepal Agriculture Journalists’ Society here Sunday, leader Khanal stressed that government policy and programmes should include the matter of producing skilled human resources for agro sector.
He suggested the people going for foreign employment to acquire skill enhancement training. Nepal Agricultural Federation Chairperson and former Secretary Ganesh KC and Press Council Nepal Chairman Borna Bahadur Karki also put their views on the occasion. Agriculture secretary Jayamukund Khanal,Ostrich trader CP Sharma, farmers Buddhiram Dhakal and Shashi Poude and woman entrepreneur Bhawani Rana were honoured on the occasion.
