two thousand chicks culled

Garuda (Rautahat), Aug. 28: The Armed Police Base Camp in Bakul has culled 2,000 chicks illegally imported from across the border. Acting on a tip-off, a team led by police inspector Bidur Bhandari took the chicks worth Rs. 160,000 under control, as they were being brought to the country from India illegally. The young fowls were culled in the presence of journalists and political party representatives. kw
