Panchthar, Feb 16: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has suggested farmers to give priority to the production of organic products as they have high demand in the international market. Inaugurating the Margadevi Organic Coffee Industry Pvt. Ltd at Phidim in Panchthar district today, Deuba suggested farmers to produce organic products including coffee, tea and vegetables. The former Prime Minister said, “Farmers producing organic products are still not getting rightful price for their organic products. The government should be serious towards it.” He also stressed on the production of organic coffee as it is in high demand in international market. Leader Deuba also urged the government to create environment conducive for investment as the same for investment in organic products could not be created until the country gets peace and constitution. It was necessary for the sustainable management of peace and to give a democratic constitution to the country soon, argued Deuba.
