Birendranagar, Jan 31: She-goats were distributed to the flood victims of Tinsthan of Birendranagar municipality at a programme organized here Friday. The support to help the flood victims make their daily life better was provided by the Environment Improvement Society with financial support of OXFAM Nepal. The female goats were distributed to the flood victims in Parseni and Khoriya under the cash for work programme. Twenty-seven people in ward nos 14 and 16 of the municipality and 20 in ward no 12 received she-goats, said programme officer at OXFAM Mahendra Raj Subedi. The support was worth Rs. 227, 900. This support by OXFAM and the Society would provide some relief to the flood victims, said Local Development Officer Hiralal Regmi.
