Kathmandu. Baikunth Bhandari, editor of Krishi Online, has been honored with the Outstanding Journalism Award.
On Sunday, Nepal Dairy Association honored Editor Bhandari on the occasion of its Silver Day.
Bhandari, who has been active in journalism for the past twenty-five years, has been embracing the agricultural sector for the past 13 years in departmental journalism.
Bhandari, who is also the founding editor of Nepal’s first agricultural weekly, has also been playing the role of editor of agricultural online digital magazine since then.
Appreciating the contribution made through journalism for the benefit and promotion of the dairy sector, the association has honored the outstanding agricultural journalism.
Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Dr. Revathi Raman Paudel, honored the Bhandari with a letter of appreciation at a special program organized on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of the Dairy Association.
