Dharding : A field monitoring visit of FAO TCP poject on STRENGTHENING PESTICIDE MANAGEMENT IN AGRICULTURE TO REDUCE RISKS TO HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT was observer at Charaudi, Dhading.  Dr Yongfang Piao, Senior Plant Protection Officer, FAO/RAP, Bangkok, Dr. Dilli Ram Sharma, Program Director, Plant Protection Directorate and Mr Arjun Thapa,Program Officer, FAO/Nepal were involved in monitoring team .  They have discussed with farmers groups and observed vegetable field. After discussion a street drama on awareness of pesticide misuse was also played. The TCP is conducting on 4 districts of Nepal including Dhading district.  The main objective of this TCP project is to reduced pesticide risks in agriculture ensuring food safety, and minimizing adverse effects on health and environment.
