Myagdi, Jan 12: The District Agriculture Office Myagdi has awarded 70 farmers based on their agro products during the Myagdi agricultural festival. The products were evaluated by the agricultural scientists and the prize determined accordingly. The products were of different categories as vegetables, improved species of fish and ducks, legumes and cash crops.
The farmers from 20 VDCs, including Piple, Bhagawati, Babiyachaur, Dagnam, Patlekhet, Bhakimli, Arman, Darbang, Takam, Bim, Dana and from Beni municipality had participated in the festival. Senior agriculture development officer Basant Kumar Shrestha said the farmers were provided cash prize and the certificates. The festival lasted for three days.
