morning procession to mark 34th world food day

Chapagaun, Oct 15: A morning procession was organized here today to mark the 34^th World Food Day with the slogan “Feeding the world, caring for the earth”.The procession that began from the Office of the Department of Agriculture in Harihar Bhawan made a round of Thapathali and dispersed on reaching back to the Office.Earlier, inaugurating the rally organized by the World Food Day Organizing Committee Nepal, Minister for Agriculture Development Hari Prasad Parajuli stressed on the need to introduce programmes to free those suffering from hunger.
