Police confiscate fake fertilizer

Gaur (Rautahat), Oct 13: Police today confiscated fake chemical fertilizer being imported to Nepal from Godasahan bazaar of India. A team of Area Police Katahariya took control 16 sacks of DAP fertilizer and five cycles used for alleged smuggling this morning. The police came across the fake fertilizer that apparently gave an impression of being DPA fertilizer but at closer inspection it was found polished small particles of stone, informed Police Inspector Ram Prakash Chaudhary.

It was learnt that the sacks of the fertilizer labeling Indian brand TATA Company were recovered. Acting on a special tip off the police recovered seized fake fertilizer near Lalawakaiya river at Kakartakmaiya VDC. Police is yet to disclose information regarding alleged smuggling, informed Inspector Chaudhary.
