Syndication persisting in Kalimati vegetable depots to be ended soon

Kathmandu : Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Chakrapani Khanal has committed to end syndication persisting in Kalimati vegetable depots. He also said that the middlemen were cheating the farmers and consumers due to the syndication persisting in the sector.
The farmers were compelled to sell their products in cheaper price but the consumers were buying the vegetables in high price it is because of middlemen’s syndication, Minister added. He noted that the government was continuously monitoring the market to control the black marketing. Minister Khanal said that the Ministry was planning to establish integrated agriculture shops in three places in Kathmandu valley.
