Kanchanpur private dairies not increasing milk price immediately

Belauri (Kanchanpur), Dec 31: Despite the government decision to hike the price of milk, the Kanchanpur Private Dairies’ Association has decided not to enforce the decision immediately.Private dairies in the district are not going to sell milk in the price fixed by the government, said Association President Prem Prakash Pathak.

The Association agreed not to implement the government decision at present, considering its additional financial burden on consumers. The Association has planned to call a meeting of bodies concerned after one or two months and adjust the price. There are 25 dairies operational under the Association in the district. RSS
